Legal 101: Choosing a business entity, protecting your trademark, and where to go for help!
The legal world can be confusing for those who have don't have much experience with it--and even for those that do!
*Come to our next meeting to learn a bit of the basics on how to decide what legal entity is right for you (sole proprietorship, LLC, corporation, etc.).
*We'll also talk to you about when you need to protect your copyright and the steps you need to take.
*Finally, we'll give you a few suggestions on where to go for legal help, and how to deal with your lawyer.

Before joining SBLC, Maggie practiced law at Stoel Rives LLP, concentrating on mergers and acquisitions, securities reporting and compliance, financing transactions and general corporate law.
