Join us next Wednesday night and learn how to find access to capital when starting a new project or venture, what steps need to be taken to secure funding, and get a chance to ask questions about the process for doing so. The panelists include Mark Peden, a venture capitalist and a Partner at Social Venture Partners here in Portland, Cecelia Tanaka, program associate at The Collins Foundation, and a representative from a local financial institution. Each panelist will give a short 7-10 minute presentation, to be followed by a questions and answer session. Whether you're an intrapreneur, business professional, a community-minded individual who is interested in starting a business, continuing or expanding their existing organization's projects, or are looking for their next passion to pursue, this panel discussion will help give you creative and useful ideas on how to get access to capitol.
