Entrepreneur – a word almost as hard to define as it is to pronounce. This 150 year-old French term is typically used to describe someone who starts a business. But, what business? And, what about non-profits or politics? What if you don’t want to start your own business, but want to pursue entrepreneurial activity within a company? There’s a term for that – it’s called ‘intrapreneur’ – someone within a corporation who turns an idea into a successful product or service through assertive risk taking and innovation. Hear from three women as they describe their paths to entre/intrapreneurship.
