Finally able to catch up on things! Here are pictures from this years Vision Board event held at Inmarket offices.
Kristine thanks for leading this awesome seminar!
I've personally never done a Vision Board before. I mean, what's the big deal about cutting up pictures in magazines right? Well, I was completely taken a back by the experience. For me, I felt like my hopes and dreams were so personal and if I share them to the world it makes me vulnerable.
I really had to search inside of myself and have courage to express the things I wanted. One big thing for me was moving forward in my personal relationship w/ my boyfriend of 5 years. I had a really hard time admitting that I did want to get engaged (gulp). I mean what if I jinx it? I just didn't want to be one of those girls always nagging and asking. Anyway, in this exercise, I took a deep breath and gathered my courage and put an engagement ring there. Hah! That wasn't so bad.
The good news is my boyfriend proposed to me in April! Purely coincidence? Who knows.
All I know is it helped me to accept and understand what I really wanted and to be able to focus on what I want to achieve for 2012.
I've since then taken drum lessons (music focus), started a mobile app development and worked closer w/ a non-profit that I am very interested in (Girls in Tech). Those were all in my vision board.
Here are pictures from the workshop!
