Join YWSE-LA in Green Camp. A fun, energetic and challenging group workout exclusively for women!
This workshop is great for everyone, regardless of your fitness level! Whether you workout every day or are brand new to regular exercise, this group session will be a wonderful opportunity for you to get a challenging workout that is tailored to your needs and fitness level.
This group session will be a circuit-like workout, with a number of different “stations”. Each station will consist of a specific total-body exercise that will be intended to raise your heart-rate while working to strengthen a specific part of your body (core, upper and lower body). While some stations will use your own body weight to challenge you, others will make use of weights, medicine balls, and kettle bells.
Don’t worry about not knowing how to do the movements. The trainer, Julia, will take the group through each exercise and explain proper form and execution. And at the end of this great workout you will receive a 10 minute physical assessment from Julia. This assessment will focus on both your strengths and your areas for improvement and outline how you can better incorporate these new exercises into your exercise regime.
Julia Lynch is a Certified Personal trainer who has been working both in high end gyms and privately for five years. Julia’s philosophy is that using your body, in an active way, needs to be as much a part of your daily routine as eating or brushing your teeth. Julia believes that exercising needs to be challenging yet fun and something that you look forward to. As a previously overweight woman, Julia knows how important it is to still be able to enjoy your favorite foods and drinks while still maintaining a healthy and strong body! Julia also works for a children’s mental health center as a behavioral therapist, with children and families.
