Alexandra is Director of Membership & Programs at Investors' Circle (IC), the worlds largest and most successful impact investing network. Alexandra works to grow IC's community of mission-driven investors and develops programs and services to enhance its members' impact investing practice. Additionally, she oversees IC's partnership with The Hitachi Foundation's Yoshiyama Young Entrepreneurs program, leveraging IC's resources to support emerging impact entrepreneurs throughout the US. She also enjoys life on the west coast, having relocated to San Francisco from her hometown of Louisville, KY. Alexandra graduated from the University of Notre Dame where she studied English and International Peace Studies and where her interest in social change sparked her fascination with social enterprise.
You can call her Liz! Liz has been with the San Francisco YWSE Board since 2010. In that time, she has served as VP of Communications and Board Chair. Now, she assumes another position within YWSE, that of National Board Member alongside Sara Ellis Conant and Michelle Lapinski. Currently, Liz lives part-time in the Bay Area and part-time near San Luis Obispo. She wears many hats, including being a Stella&Dot Stylist and educational consultant. Liz has a background in teaching/training, which promotes her strength and love for being a developer of people. She hopes to launch her own integrated coaching practice, utilizing massage therapy & health and life coaching strategies to support her clients. Liz graduated from Ripon College with a BA in Foreign Languages and has her MA from SF State in German Linguistics/Literature.
